WHO IS AHMET NURAY ? 
Researcher , art consullant , educator and sculptor born in 1950 in Izmir.He finished primary secondary and high school in Turkey, then he moved to USA to continue his education.
Being effected by sports in his youth the artist got many fisrt rank degrees in athletics.He furnished the walls of his schools with many medals of first,second and thiral ranks in 100 m , 200 m , 400 m , jumping , high jumping , discus , three steps and 1500 m.

The artsit had a huge role in his school's winning the first rank degree in the athletics contests among secondary schools in Turkey.It is the same for the tournament among high schools.He was especially proud of his first rank medals he wan in individual branches in athletics.He was a nominee to be the athlete who was going to be sent abroad as a winner of an athletics contest among high schools in Turkey.Instead of him the runner up of 200 m was sent to abroad by mistake.He added himself to the list of whom seeking his/her feauture in abroad.It is how his abroad education story started.

He was planing to have educated in sports but he was affected his father's education in wood carving,then he headed towards art.Started from New York ,continued to Los Angeles and Santa Barbara , he tried to do his best in sculpture , painting , authentic stamp and ceramics in order to eliminate his deficiency of himself.

He was able to complete his education which requires both self sacrifice and time.Being aware of the importance of expanding his education out of the school he worked with any educators he met.He opened lots of individual art exhibitions while building up his own style after many experiments , Attracting many celebrities from Hollywood his works are proof of his being a promising artist.Considered education as his main aim the artist both educated his students and got educated at the same time.He educated many artist in his studio in Santa Barbara.Having artistic view in education he believed that people should be educated via art.He also had studies in accordance with that belief of him.

He met transcendental mdeitation in early 80's.Having a positive life philosophy,with this technique he got educated by experts who were his art students.He met people who put the technique into pratice.Some of them were Hollywood starts.In short it was a necessity for him to learn this technique which helps to use the brain cells at a maximum level.After many years of training he became are of the practitioners of the technique and he had a new subject to teach his student of art...

In 1985 he has been to Switzerland for researching and attending education programs about parapisychology and pedagogics.Then he accepted an offer to carry out an education program which included educating thousands of children in Lozan Museum.Titled “integrating pedagogic education and art education”this program wa a new version of and old philosophy and it aimed to help students to improve their personal abilities while while being educated individually.It was a technique based on the idea that any well functioning brain can speed up improving its cells thanks to the art education.

During 4 years he has been to Switzerland he has not only improved himself in many areas,he enjoys positive life via teaching what he knows,but he also opened lots of exhibitions.
In 1990's the artist who has both us and Turkish citizenship refused offers for staying in Switzerland.He took all of his projects and works with him and came back to his country where he left in 1970's.He wanted to open exhibitions,build up projects and practice them ance again.Although he encountered some problems he achieved some of them.He spents 15 years in sleep practicing the positive life philosophy.What is supposed to happen needs some time happen.During this period of silence he considered this and many of his ideas could not come into life then,but he also knows that he needs to flourish in Turkey of 2008.Even if it is for the last time he desires the environment to come into existence to realize his projects not going back to USA and using the advantage of having us citizenship.He wants to be a beneficial citizen of world.He wishes this to happen in his own country which has the greatest role in his personal progress including his art,educational career and projects.He also wants to contribute his country as much as he can by his being a universal artist.
